The Arena in front of the Lodge is a large open space that is a communal and shared facility.
It is useful for team games and play, but it is important that you discuss and co-ordinate your activities with other site users.
Frisbee golf posts are situated around the arena – you will need to book the equipment and pay a deposit to use these.
And when you need to take a rest, have a lunch break or get together for work activities, there are eight picnic benches located around the Arena.
We have a separate and larger field available for other group activities or larger events on the extra field adjacent to the Snowball site which can be booked for exclusive use emailing bookings@snowballplantation.org.uk.
We also have a range of equipment that you can book and use, subject to availability. Click here for more details.
Snowball Plantation is situated off the A64, six and a half miles to the east of York.
Snowball Plantation is the operating name of York Scout Activity Centre owned by York Joint Scout Trust, a registered charity, number 524835.
