Useful Information

During the week members of Management Team, Service Team, and Police make visits. Duty Wardens are normally available at weekends (phone 07856312068) , having routine maintenance tasks to carry out, although groups should be aware that there is no permanent warden at the Centre.

Leaders are more than welcome to include opportunities for service in their programme, for example a ‘litter sweep’.

The site is accessed by a wide variety of organisations and often several groups using the Snowball site at the same time – please do be considerate of other users, our volunteers and our neighbour.

Appropriate checks may not have been undertaken by all of the organisations accessing the site, although members of these organisations are asked to observe the Scout and Guide Associations CHILD PROTECTION POLICIES that are in place.

On request, the Booking Secretary can provide a list of local traders – orders and payment should be sent direct to them.
